Dr. Linda Deloney, assistant professor of radiology, has advised faculty on curriculum development, program evaluation, compliance, educational research, and professional development since joining the department in 2003, She is a Doctor of Education (EdD) in Higher Education Administration and has a master's degree in Technical Writing and bachelors in Business Administration. She is a recipient of the Jay Randall Award from the UAMS Standardized Patient Program and the College of Medicine’s Educational Research Award.
Nationally, she has been elected Steering Committee Member-at-Large by The Generalists in Medical Education and the Southern Group on Educational Affairs (SGEA), Association of American Medical Colleges. She also served as Program Co-chair for the TGME 32nd Annual Meeting.
An Association of Program Directors in Radiology (APDR) member since 2005, she has served on the Education and Annual Survey Committees. She received the Herbert M. Stauffer Award for Best Education paper published in Academic Radiology in 2014 and, with Dr. Jambhekar, the Jerome Arndt Grant for Development of an Educational Escape Room for Radiology Residents in 2018.
Recently, she co-authored Tips for the Radiology Residency Pre-application Process, the second article in a series of 6 published on Aunt Minnie during 2018-19 academic year to help medical students plan for a career in radiology.
