Dr. Kenney is a Professor of Radiology and member of the General/Body Imaging Division. He has special interests in all aspects of genitourinary radiology as well as trauma imaging. His clinical duties include plain radiography, fluoroscopic procedures, Body CT and Ultrasound.
Dr. Kenney was born in Syracuse NY 1951. He attained a BS in Biology at LeMoyne College (Syracuse) in 1973. He obtained his MD degree from Johns Hopkins University in 1977. He spent a year in internship in Internal Medicine at St Louis University 1977-78. He completed radiology residency at Mallinckrodt Institute of Washington University, St Louis, and was Board Certified in 1981.
Dr. Kenney held staff positions at SUNY Syracuse Medical Center 1981-85 and the University of Alabama at Birmingham 1985-2007.
He joined the faculty at UAMS in 2007 as Chair of Department of Radiology. After stepping down as Chair he has continued as professor of Radiology. Dr. Kenney served as President of the Society of Uroradiology now merged into Society of Abdominal Radiology.
Dr. Kenney has published extensively and lectured worldwide in GU radiology and Trauma.
His current external interests include membership on Board of Directors of the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra and work with Ballet Arkansas.
