Dr. Karthika Veerapaneni is a board certified physician in Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). Dr. Veerapaneni finished her residency training in Neurology at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center at San Antonio (UTHSCSA). She later completed fellowship training in Neurophysiology at the University of Kansas Medical Center (KUMC). After graduating from fellowship, she joined as an assistant professor and a general neurologist in the Department of Neurology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). She sees patients with various neurological conditions including neuropathy, myopathy and dizziness. She also performs procedures like Electromyogram/Nerve Conduction Study (EMG/NCS) which helps in identifying various neurological conditions like carpal tunnel syndrome, ulnar neuropathy, peripheral neuropathy and myopathy.
