Mrs. Petray is a clinical social worker. She graduated from Hendrix College in Conway with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She then attended the University of Arkansas at Little Rock where she completed her Master’s degree in Social Work in 1993.
Mrs. Petray joined UAMS West in 1995. She works closely with residents training them in mental health issues and how to deal with mental health issues in primary care. She also provides individual support to residents in the area of interpersonal communication, professionalism and physician wellness. As part of the PCMH model she provides direct counseling services to our general patient population using the PCBH model of brief solution focused therapy.
She and her husband Frank have two grown sons. She enjoys traveling, fitness and spending time with her 4 cats in her spare time.
