Dr. Scott Young is an Associate Professor in the Division of Nephrology, Department of Internal Medicine. He received his BA in biochemistry from Dartmouth College, graduating magna cum laude, and he completed his medical degree at Los Angeles School of Medicine at the University of California. Dr. Young did his residency training in internal medicine at the University of Texas-Southwestern, Dallas, Texas and his fellowship training in nephrology at the University of California, Los Angeles. He also completed a transplant immunology fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
Dr. Young served at Baptist Transplant Institute in Little Rock as the Director of Renal Transplantation from 1993 to 2016. He serves on the Arkansas Kidney Disease Commission.
