Kristin Lee Chaffee, MD, MPH, is a geriatrician at the Reynolds Institute on Aging at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). She is board certified in Family Medicine and Geriatrics. After obtaining her medical degree at UAMS, Dr. Chaffee completed her residency in Family Medicine at UAMS AHEC of Pine Bluff. She then completed a one year fellowship in Geriatrics and a one year Fellowship in Palliative Care, both at UAMS. She joined the Department of Geriatrics at UAMS in July of 2015 as an Assistant Professor in Geriatrics.
Dr. Chaffee sees patients in the Thomas Lyon Longevity Center at the Reynolds Institute on Aging, rotates on geriatric consults inpatient, rotates on palliative care consults inpatient, and currently goes to Stagecoach Nursing & Rehabilitation and Highlands of Little Rock West Markham.
Dr. Chaffee is interested in encouraging patients to discuss and complete advance directives. She enjoys the continuity of care and truly getting to know her patients.
Dr. Chaffee is a member of the American Geriatric Society and the American Medical Directors Association, The Society for Post-acute and Long-Term Care Medicine.
