Andres Duarte-Rojo has been a faculty member since 2011 and a current member of the College of Medicine Clinician-Scientist Program. He is the Medical Director of Liver Transplantation and the Director of the Viral Hepatitis Program. His academic training includes a Doctorate and a Master's degree in Clinical Research (National University of Mexico). He has completed fellowships in transplant hepatology, clinical hepatology, and gastroenterology. He conducts clinical research, both investigator-initiated and industry-sponsored, focusing on clinimetrics in end-stage liver disease, clinical outcomes in transplantation, and clinical trials.
