Tonya Johnson is a Certified Nutrition Support Dietitian at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences where she is responsible for managing the clinical dietitians, graduate assistants, department computer system and patient food services.
She has 18 years of experience in educating others about nutrition and nutrition research. She is affiliated with four state and national societies and has delivered numerous presentations on nutrition to students and faculty.
Tonya earned her Bachelor of Science and her Master of Science at the University of Central Arkansas. She completed her doctorate through the University of Arkansas at Little Rock Department of Higher Education Doctoral Program. She also completed a dietetic internship at UAMS in 2002.
