C. Don Bice, M.D. considers himself an Arkansan. Although his parents grew up on farms in Northeast Arkansas, his father was a career military officer and consequently very little of Bice’s early life was spent in this state, living in ten different states and Europe by the age of fifteen. A graduate of the UAMS College of Medicine in 1978, Bice completed his Residency in Diagnostic Radiology and a Fellowship in Vascular Radiology at UAMS as well. He is Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology.
Early in his career, Bice served as the Chief of Vascular and Interventional Radiology and Director of the Vascular and Interventional Radiology Fellowship program in the Radiology Department of UAMS. This was followed by nearly twenty years in private practice with a diverse experience in all aspects of Radiology. Bice was the Chief of Radiology on two separate occasions during this time and the President of Radiology Consultants of NEA in Jonesboro, Arkansas prior to returning to UAMS in 2003.
