Dr. Linda N. Teal is an Assistant Professor in the UAMS Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology Generalist Division. She completed her medical degree at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, AR. She then completed her residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.
She received the Purdue Frederick Award for Excellence in Obstetrics & Gynecology and received the Willis E. Brown Prize Paper Award for resident research. She is a published author. Before joining the faculty at UAMS, she had over 30 years of experience in private practice.
Dr. Teal is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
She is a member of several professional organizations including:

Dr. Teal enjoys the variety of patients that her field brings to her practice. Educating patients about their health and helping them to become active participants in their health care is an important part of her practice.
