Dr. Sorsby is a seasoned physician with 25 years of clinical experience and over 20 years of management and leadership experience in the healthcare industry. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from UAMS in 1983. He moved to the Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington to complete a Family Practice residency. He practiced at several military bases and served as Battalion Surgeon for the 1/39th Field Artillery Regiment in Desert Storm. After returning stateside, he was a family practice physician in Connecticut and Washington, as well as the Arkansas Delta. Dr. Sorsby earned his Masters of Healthcare Administration from the University of Washington Department of Health Services in Seattle, Washington in 1999. He has professional affiliations with the American Association of Physician Leadership, the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine, and the American Academy of Family Physician, and Alpha Omega Alpha.
