Kristin Lee Chaffee, MD, MPH, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family and Preventive Medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). She is board certified in Family Medicine and Geriatrics. After obtaining her medical degree at UAMS, Dr. Chaffee completed her residency in Family Medicine at UAMS AHEC of Pine Bluff. She then completed a one year fellowship in Geriatrics and a one year Fellowship in Palliative Care, both at UAMS. After working in the Department of Geriatrics at UAMS for several years, she moved to Colorado for a year working for a Hospice and Palliative Care Agency before returning to Arkansas to work in the UAMS Family Medicine Clinic and at Premier Nursing Home and Rehab in North Little Rock.
Dr. Chaffee is interested in encouraging patients to discuss and complete advance directives. She enjoys the continuity of care and truly getting to know her patients.
Dr. Chaffee is a member of the American Medical Directors Association Society for Post-acute and Long-Term Care Medicine.
