Venkata Surya Phani Bhushan Durvasula, M.D., completed most of his medical training overseas in India and the United Kingdom. In addition, Dr. Durvasula completed three Otolaryngology fellowships, one in Detroit at the Children's Hospital of Michigan, one at the Arkansas Children's Hospital, and one at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). One day a week, he sees adults and children at the South Arkansas Ear, Nose and Throat Clinic in Pine Bluff.
Dr. Durvasula is a member of the American Medical Association (AMA) and the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh, United Kingdom. He has won several awards, including Best Poster Presentations, Rhinology Section at the 5th Asia Oceania Head and Neck Congress, Kuala Lumpur, Commendation of Dissertation. MSc Thesis, Imperial College, London. September 2004.
