Nirvana Manning, MD, is an Associate Professor at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She graduated from UAMS in 2003 and completed her residency in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at UAMS in 2007.
Her dedication to education has been recognized in the many awards she’s received such as Circle of Excellence Dean’s List, Red Sash Teaching Award and Resident Excellence in Teaching Award. She is a member of the Central Arkansas Obstetrics & Gynecology Society, and American College of Obstetrics & Gynecology, and American Professors of Obstetrics and Gynecology to name just a few.
Dr. Manning served as the Ambulatory Clinical Director for the UAMS Women’s Health Clinics from 2011-2015, was then promoted to the Women’s Health Service Line Medical Director in 2015, and in August of 2017 promoted to the Service Line Director for Women and Infants Health. This position in conjunction with her many years of experience as a physician gives her the knowledge she needs to not only care for her patients, but be an advocate for their needs within the clinical setting.
