Dr. Samantha McKelvey is an Assistant Professor in the UAMS Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology Generalist Division and the UAMS Department of Hospice and Palliative Medicine, and devotes time to the UAMS Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute Cancer Survivorship Program. She is also an Advisor for the Cord Blood Bank of Arkansas.
Her clinical interest is obstetrics and gynecology, and she also provides palliative care consultations in the inpatient setting. She has a special interest in symptom management and treatment of gynecologic issues specific to cancer survivors. She has made several presentations in her field in meetings and conferences around the country. She also has numerous publications on a variety of topics within obstetrics and gynecology.
In addition to being an Obstetrician and Gynecologist, Dr. McKelvey is a cancer survivor and mom, and she enjoys helping her patients and their families during their life transitions
